Quarterly Training Programme

The Pest Management Association of Trinidad and Tobago (PMATT) launched its first Quarterly Training session “Fundamentals of Selling for the Service Industry” on Friday 22nd March 2019 at the Chancellor Hotel in At Ann’s. The training featured an afternoon full of discourse, and exchange of ideas to stimulate the sales management aspect not only in the Pest Control sector, but also with tools that can assist any manager in the service industry.

The session opened its first instalment with a welcome address by the chairman, Mr. Anthony Rostant. He shared with attendees the importance of coming together as colleagues and in particular members of the Pest Management Association in supporting its Education and Training initiative.

This three-part Programme, designed to equip practitioners in the field of Pest Control with the best educational and practical tools to enhance sale management within their daily operations, ended on April 6, 2019.

Attendees knuckled down and got down to business, as the training session led by facilitator Mr. Victor Goden commenced. Mr. Victor Goden shared with participants the best ways to interact and negotiate with buyers. With 20 years’ experience Mr. Goden, enlightened persons to the true Fundamentals of Selling such as:

– Relationship Selling

– How to aggressively manage and set appointments that amounts to positive leads

– Sales planning

– Effective Communications

– Confirmation

– Conference

– Closing strategies
